Research

The Department of Chemistry consists of several research groups organized after their main research activities. Please see a list of the different disciplines within the department to the right -->>

Most groups are located in the Chemistry Building on the Chalmers Campus, but the groups in Biochemistry and Biophysics are in the Lundberg Laboratory on Medicinarberget, at the site of the Sahlgrenska Academy.

Research Platforms

The Science Faculty supports several research platforms that involve scientists at several departments. Scientists from the Chemistry Department take part in several platforms that receive support during the years 2006-2009.

Information about fire safety

The section involved must be evacuated when fire alarm is given. After evacuation you must go to the place of reassembly below.
 

The place of reassembly for the Chemistry building is on Kemigården in front of the Chemistry building main entrance.

The Biochemistry and biophysics place of reassembly is located at the Lundberg Laboratory on the lawn in front of the building shown below.
